Crochet Palestine Flag WRist Cuff
I made this so I’d have something to wear to show my support while waiting in the meantime for the items I ordered to arrive. I also made it because crocheting anything else at the time just didn’t make sense and I am somebody who processes a lot through my crochet practice. I urge you to join me in using your voice to speak out against the genocide of the Palestinian people and to donate to relief funds if you have the means!
Yarn and materials

Row 5-6[switch to white yarn]: rep row, turn, 29 hdc
Fold band in half and sc sides of rows 6-1 together cut yarn, weave in ends.
(If you. don't like seams you can attach the sides with a mattress st, or don't flip the band inside out and stitch over the seam with the red triangle we make next)
Triangle
With red yarn, ch 2
Row 1: sc 2 in 2nd ch from the hook, turn- 2 sc
Row 2: ch 1, sc 2 in both sts, turn- 4 sc
Row 3: ch 1, sc across, turn- 4 sc
Row 4: ch 1, sc 2 in 1st st, sc across, sc 2 in last st, turn- 6 sc
Row 5: rep row 4, turn- 8 sc
Row 6: ch 1, sc across, turn- 8 sc
Row 7: rep row 4, turn- 10 sc
Cut yarn and leave long tail. Use tail to stitch to band. Make sure to orient triangle so the black band is on the top.
Notes:
-i find that most yarn stretches to a fair degree so I make the ch for the band a little smaller with the anticipation it will get stretched out.
-i chose cotton over acrylic or wool because I feel like it's a better choice for a jewelry piece that would get very pilled or felted together with lots of wear
If you made this pattern, thank you! I also encourage you to do all that you can to support the Palestinian cause at this time. This could mean going to protests, donating to reileif fund, sharing information, or reaching out to your representatives. It's important we keep this momentum going!
