Yarn A: Patons Fool's Gold [100% Acrylic, 205 yds/100 g skein]
Yarn B: Red Heart Hunter Green [100% Acrylic, 364 yds/196 g skein]
Colors & Approx Yardage: Gold, 45 yds; Green, 182 yds

Headband Gauge: 4 sts and 4 rows = 1/1 in.
Hat Gauge: 2 sts and 2 rows = 1/1 in.

Ribbed Headband
Base chain: Ch 7.
Row 1: Turn, sc in 2nd st from hook, sc in ea st across. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn, hr in ea st across. (6 sts)
Row 3-52: repeat Row 2
Row 51: sl st into Row 1. Fasten off.
Horns (Make 2)
Base chain: Ch 2.
Row 1: Hdc 2 in 2nd st from hook. (2 sts)
Row 2: Hdc in 2nd st from hook, hdc in next st. (4 sts)
Row 3: Ch 2, turn,hdc in 1st st, hdc 1 in next 2 sts, hdc 2 in last st across. (6 sts)
Row 4: Ch 2, turn,hdc in 1st st, hdc 1 in next 4 sts, hdc 2 in last st across. (8 sts)
Row 5: Ch 2, turn,hdc in 1st st, hdc 1 in next 6 sts, hdc 2 in last st across. (10 sts)
Row 6: Ch 2, turn, hdc in 2nd st, hdc 1 in ea st across. (10 sts)

Row 11: Fold piece in half lengthwise, sl st sides together. Fasten off. Turn inside out.
Beanie
Use the ribbed headband as base Round. 1 row= 1 st
Round 1: Ch 1, sc across. (52 sts)
Round 2: Ch 3 dc in st behind hook, cc across (26 sts)
Round 3-13: Repeat Round 2, until hat length is approximately 9 in. Cut yarn leaving a long tail. Weave ends through the front loop of sts in Round 13 and pull tight to finish beanie.
Finishing
Weave in ends. Attach the horns to the headband, put the hat on to know where to place horns. Wash and block as needed.
