My first big pattern in years!
The pattern includes the base pattern and additional instructions for a variety of ways to add extra ornamentation to your purse!
I’ve been posting tutorials and free patterns as often as I can, but the last pattern I made for sale was added to my Etsy in 2021! It’s my Spider crop top pattern, (I’d link it here, but I do plan on re-editing it and relisting it). I’m eager to share as much of my knowledge of crochet and cosplay I’ve gained over the 14 years I’ve been crocheting. My goal is to put out as much free content as I can. Keeping this knowledge accessible is absolutely a priority for me. That being said, I will need to release paid patterns in addition to my free content to support the creation of this free content.

It’s taken me longer than I’d have wanted to be able to work on this pattern and get it out for you all. This is because I’ve spent most of my days since the end of November as a full time caretaker for my grandma. I also spent lots of time figuring out how I like to document and design my patterns. My goal is to make my patterns as detailed as possible. I still don’t use patterns myself; my work is freehanded! This means I’m not the most familiar with crochet patterns. I think this can be of benefit to those using my patterns who may also find crochet patterns to be confusing.
This pattern is a full e-book, the final page count is 41 pages. It includes lots of notes and hd photos for maximum clarity. It also has the standard crochet abbreviation pattern format. The last four pages are a printable version so you don’t need to use all the ink and pages needed for the full book. The pattern pages include just the instructions, materials, abbreviations, and measurements.
Releasing this pattern feels like the next big step toward making my creative dreams into a career for myself and establish myself as the pattern writer I’ve wanted to be from the first patterns I wrote when I was younger. The support for this pattern will allow me to take more time to catch up on my massive backlog of free patterns and tutorials I’ve been trying to create.
I want to take a moment to shout out my wonderful pattern testers! This was my first time working with a group of pattern testers. As I mentioned before, I have limited experience with pattern writing, so it was extremely helpful to have wonderful testers giving me feedback! Thank you so much to my testers!

I posted the call for testers on the Yarn Cosplay Guild discord, and plan to continue using it for my tester calls so make sure you’re on the discord if you’d like to be a pattern tester in the future!
You can buy the pattern on:
Sharing the link to purchase these patterns is a great way to support my work. The support allows me to put out free content, too!
Please do not share the ebook with others if you purchase it. This is a violation of the digital copyright for the pattern download. This is stealing and undermining the countless hours I’ve spent working on this. This theft prevents me from pursuing the development of more free educational content. If you love the pattern and want others to check it out, please send them a link to purchase it themselves, or purchase it as a gift for them.
